Texas A&M AgriLife (AgriLife) is committed to upholding the highest standard of ethical conduct and compliance with the legal obligations of the AgriLife components. In support of these efforts, the AgriLife Ethics & Compliance Office has been established within AgriLife Administrative Services to provide risk and management advisory services, as well as to promote compliance with applicable federal, state, Texas A&M University System, and agency laws, policies, regulations, rules, and procedures.
All proposals submitted in the name of Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service are reviewed by the Ethics & Compliance office. Areas of proposal review include:

- Indirect Cost Rate Requested and Justification
- Proposed Statement of Work
- Proposed Cost Share
- Reporting Codes
- Research Compliance Items
The AgriLife Ethics & Compliance Office works with Sponsored Research Services to ensure all proposals are meeting and complying with all agency, system, state, federal regulations, policies, and laws.
